International İKÇÜ ART FESTIVAL-Turkey
OPEN CALL for ARTISTS and DESIGNERS until September 10, 2021
The Faculty of Art and Design at Izmir Katip Celebi University is pleased to invite you to participate in “International İKÇÜ ART FESTIVAL” on September 21-24, at the IKCU Art Gallery, Izmir, Turkiye. Once famous for figs, Izmir (formerly Smyrna), is now Turkiye’s 3rd-largest city, the “capital” of the Aegean region, a major port, and commercial center set dramatically around a huge bay and backed by mountains to the south.
The arts festival lasts the three-day and includes exhibitions, workshops, film screening, as well as performances by guest artists and academics who are specialists in these fields. The festival also helps many international artists in gaining recognition for their artworks in Turkiye. We wish to invite visual artists to submit their artworks of various media such as graphic design, drawings, illustrations, printmaking, cartooning and graffiti, Infographic, photographs, video & new media art, and mixed media.
IkcuArt Fest brings together both rapidly growing creative talent and local and international artists under one roof.
Artists will receive notification of acceptance or rejection within four weeks following these deadlines. Applicants who are accepted will be contacted by email.

This exhibition can be participated by all kinds of artists, designers who work in type to create a diverse exhibition with a wide cross-section of works.
Artists who intend to participate in the festival have to send their work visual by using the Online Application Form.
We cannot accept shipped work. The selected works will be covered with a passe-partout for the exhibition.
Submissions are subject to evaluation based on creativity used medium, originality, and quality of work.
The artists can participate in more than one exhibition. Each participating artist will receive a certificate of attendance (for each per exhibition) and a digital exhibition catalog.
Each exhibit will be opened with a reception on September 21 and the show will be open 12 hours each day.
